Romans 14:4b – “And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.”
There are moments in life when standing feels difficult. Pressure increases, strength feels limited, and the weight of responsibility can make us feel unsteady. Yet this verse reminds us of a powerful truth. Our ability to stand does not rest on our own strength alone. It rests on the sustaining power of God.
The Lord is not distant from your struggle. He is present, active, and deeply involved in holding you up. When your confidence weakens, He strengthens you. When your legs feel tired, He steadies you. God knows every test you face and every burden you carry, and He is committed to seeing you remain standing.
Standing is not about never feeling weak. It is about trusting the One who keeps you upright when weakness comes. God provides endurance for the journey, courage for the challenges, and grace for every step. Even when others doubt your ability to continue, the Lord declares that you will stand because He is able to make you stand.
You are not holding yourself together by sheer effort. God’s hand is upon your life. He is holding you firmly, guiding you carefully, and strengthening you daily. As you rely on Him, you will discover that His power is more than enough to keep you standing through every season.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for Your hand upon my life. I acknowledge that without You I would stumble, but with You I am able to stand. Strengthen me, sustain me, and keep me steady as I walk this journey with You. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Friday.
