‘When the whirlwind passes, the wicked are no more, but the righteous are secure forever.’ – Proverbs 10:25
Life often feels like a whirlwind. Sometimes, without warning, troubles arise that threaten to uproot everything we have built. Storms of confusion, grief, disappointment, or fear can come suddenly, shaking the very ground beneath us. Yet, the Word of God reminds us that these whirlwinds do not last forever. They come and go, but those who are anchored in the Lord remain standing.
The wicked, who build their lives on pride, deceit, or self-sufficiency, may appear strong and unshaken for a season. But when the storm comes, their strength quickly fades because their foundation is not secure. On the other hand, those who walk in righteousness, who trust in the Lord, are sustained by His unchanging hand. The winds may blow, the storms may rage, but they remain safe and immovable in His care.
To be righteous does not mean we are perfect, but that we are in right standing with God through faith in Jesus Christ. It means we live each day depending on His grace, walking in His truth, and trusting in His promises. When our lives are rooted in Him, we find security that the world cannot give and no storm can destroy.
Even when life feels uncertain, remember this truth: your security does not rest in your circumstances, but in your Savior. He surrounds you like a shield and holds you firmly in His everlasting arms. The whirlwind will pass, but your life, anchored in the Lord, will endure forever.
PRAYER:
Lord, I want my life to be rooted and grounded in You. With Your help, I will remain steadfast and enjoy security forever because You are with me. Thank You that because of Your eternal care, I am in an unshakeable position. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Wednesday.
