“When they call on Me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honour them.” – Psalm 91:15

What a powerful and reassuring promise this verse brings! Life is not without its moments of difficulty, hardship, and uncertainty. We all walk through valleys, times of fear, loss, confusion, and sorrow. But in the midst of it all, God speaks this unshakable truth: “I will be with you in trouble.”

This is not the voice of a distant God, but of a loving Father who draws near when we are hurting. He sees your tears, hears your prayers, and feels your pain. And when you call on Him, He answers, not with silence, but with presence. Not with indifference, but with intervention. He says, “I will rescue you and honour you.” That means He won’t just lift you out; He will lift you up.

Even in the darkest moments, you are never alone. The storm may rage, but His hand is on your life. The trouble may come, but so will His rescue. And in the end, He won’t just save you, He will honour you. He will bring restoration, dignity, and victory to places where you once felt weak and broken.

So don’t be afraid to call on Him. Cry out in the middle of your storm. He listens. He responds. He steps in. And He walks with you through it all. His presence doesn’t mean the trouble disappears, but it does mean the trouble won’t destroy you. His nearness is your strength. His love is your anchor. His promise is your hope.

Hold on to this truth today: you are not alone and you are not forgotten. You are held, heard, and helped by the One who rescues and redeems.

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You that You are not a silent or distant God. You are my Helper, my Deliverer, and my constant Companion. When I call, You answer. When I struggle, You stay close. Thank You that no trouble can separate me from Your love, and no hardship can overcome the rescue that You have already planned for me. I rest in Your presence and stand on Your promises. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Monday.
