“I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of Him.” – 1 Samuel 1:27

Theme:

There are some prayers that come from the depths of the soul—whispers uttered in silent tears, hopes clung to in the stillness of pain. Hannah’s story reminds us that God sees, God hears, and God answers. Hers was not a quick or casual prayer. It was prayer birthed in pain, watered by tears, and sustained by unwavering faith. She prayed and believed, even when the waiting seemed endless and the silence deafening.

  • Never underestimate the power of persistent prayer. – Even when nothing seems to change, something is happening in the heavens.
  • God’s delays are not His denials. – He is always working, even behind the scenes.
  • The Lord cares deeply about your deepest longings. – He knows what you hold in your heart—the burdens, the dreams, the people you pray for—and He holds them too.

Trust His timing. His answers may not always come when we expect, but they will come—full of purpose, beauty, and joy. And one day, like Hannah, you too will be able to say: “The Lord has granted me what I asked of Him.”

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You that You are the God who hears, the God who sees, and the God who answers. I bring my deepest longings and requests to You. Teach me to wait with hope and to pray with persistence. Help me to trust that You are faithful, and that You will bring about all things in the right time and in the right way. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Monday. May your heart be strengthened as you continue to trust in the God who hears your every prayer.
