“But I’m not the person for a job like that!” – Exodus 3:11
You Are More Than Enough in God’s Hands
There are moments in life when we feel unqualified, incapable, and unworthy of the tasks set before us. Like Moses, we question our abilities and shrink back in fear, saying, “Lord, I am not the right person for this.”
But God does not call the qualified—He qualifies the called. He sees beyond our weaknesses and insecurities, looking instead at the potential He placed within us.
• You may see limitations, but He sees possibilities.
• You may see failure, but He sees victory.
• You may see weakness, but He sees His strength working through you.
When Moses doubted himself, God’s response was not about Moses’ ability—it was about God’s presence. “I will be with you,” the Lord said (Exodus 3:12). And that is all that matters.
God Believes in You
Oftentimes, God has more faith in us than we have in ourselves.
•He calls us not because of our perfection, but because of His purpose.
•He equips us not because we are strong, but because His strength is made perfect in our weakness.
•He chooses us not because of our qualifications, but because He is able to accomplish great things through surrendered hearts.
If God says you can, then you can! Not by your might, not by your power, but by His Spirit (Zechariah 4:6).
Step Forward in Faith
When God calls, He also provides the grace, wisdom, and strength needed to fulfill His assignment. He does not expect you to have it all figured out—He just asks you to trust Him and take the first step.
So, instead of asking “Who am I to do this?”
Ask, “Lord, since You are with me, what can I not do?”
PRAYER:
Lord, thank You that You see something in me that I often fail to see in myself. When I doubt my ability, remind me that Your presence is what qualifies me. Help me to step out in faith, knowing that You are with me, guiding, strengthening, and equipping me to do all You have destined me to do. I surrender my fears and insecurities to You, Lord—use me for Your glory. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Encouragement for Today:
You are chosen, you are capable, and you are anointed for a purpose. Do not let self-doubt stop you from walking in the calling God has for you!
Good morning to you all. Step boldly into this day, knowing that with God, you can do more than you ever imagined. Have a blessed Friday!
