1 Peter 5:7 – “Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you.”

There is something deeply comforting in knowing that you are not alone in carrying the weight of your life. Many people move through each day burdened with silent worries, unspoken fears, and private struggles. From the outside, everything may look fine, but inside there is pressure building, questions without answers, and concerns that refuse to go away.

God speaks directly into that reality with a simple but powerful instruction. Give it to Him. Not some of it. Not the small things only. All of it. Every worry, every fear, every situation that keeps you awake at night. This is not just an invitation. It is a command rooted in love.

The reason God asks you to give Him your burdens is because He cares about you. This is personal. His care is not distant or general. It is specific and intentional. He sees what you are going through. He understands what you are feeling. He knows the details you have not told anyone else. Nothing about your life is too small or too complicated for His attention.

But here is the hard truth. Many people say God cares, yet they continue to carry everything themselves. They hold onto stress, replay problems in their minds, and try to control situations that are beyond their power. That is not trust. That is self-reliance disguised as strength. Real faith requires release. It requires you to let go and place those concerns into God’s hands.

When you truly give something to God, you stop carrying it the same way. It does not mean the situation disappears immediately, but it means the burden shifts. Peace begins to replace anxiety. Confidence begins to rise where fear once lived. You begin to rest, not because everything is resolved, but because you trust the One who is in control.

So take a moment today. Be intentional. Identify that one thing that has been weighing heavily on your heart. Do not ignore it. Do not manage it. Give it to God completely. Trust Him with the outcome. Trust Him with the process. Trust Him with your life.

God cares about you more than you understand, and He is fully able to take care of everything you entrust to Him.

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You that You care for me. Today I take my worries, cares and my distress and I give it to You. You are able to take care of everything that I entrust to You. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen..

Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Saturday.
