Psalm 77:14 – “You are the God who performs miracles; You display Your power among the peoples.”
This verse is a bold declaration of who God is. He is not distant, passive, or limited. He is the God who performs miracles. Throughout history He has displayed His power in ways that defy human explanation and surpass natural limitations. His works reveal that nothing is too hard for Him.
When life becomes difficult and circumstances seem immovable, it is easy to focus on the size of the problem. Yet this Scripture shifts our attention to the greatness of our God. The same Lord who parted seas, healed the sick, restored the broken, and provided in impossible situations is still at work today. His power has not diminished. His ability has not weakened.
A miracle is not simply an extraordinary event. It is a reminder that God is sovereign over every situation. When we face challenges that exceed our understanding or resources, we can find peace in knowing that God’s power is not bound by human limitations. What seems impossible to us remains fully possible for Him.
Trusting in a miracle working God does not mean denying reality. It means acknowledging that God’s reality is greater than what we see. It means placing our confidence in His ability to intervene, to transform, and to bring breakthrough in ways we could never orchestrate ourselves.
Today, lift your eyes beyond the circumstances that surround you. Remember who your God is. He performs miracles. He displays His power. He is able to act in your life in ways that will bring glory to His name and peace to your heart.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for Your mighty working power that is at work in my life and situation. May I never forget that You can do great and wonderful things. You are my miracle working Father, and I will trust in You. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
