Isaiah 60:1 –  “Arise, from spiritual depression to a new life, shine, be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the LORD; for your light has come.”

The call to arise is a call to movement, to hope, and to renewed life. God does not speak these words to people who feel strong and unstoppable. He speaks them to hearts that have known weariness, disappointment, and moments of spiritual heaviness. To arise means that you refuse to remain where discouragement has tried to place you. It means you respond to God’s voice with faith, even if your strength feels limited.

You have reason to rejoice because God’s light has come to you. No darkness, no delay, and no past failure can cancel His purpose for your life. Things may try to pull you down, but God’s favour stands ready to lift you up. You may have been shaken by circumstances, yet you are still standing today because His hand has been sustaining you all along.

When God calls you to shine, He is not asking you to produce your own light. He is inviting you to reflect His glory. As His light shines on you, it brings clarity, healing, and direction. It reveals new possibilities and restores joy where sadness once lingered. This is a season to rise with confidence, to keep going, and to trust that God is not finished with you.

As you look ahead, choose to arise again and again. Do not give up when challenges come. Let the light of the Lord rest upon your life and guide your steps. In Him, you are renewed, strengthened, and empowered to move forward into all that He has prepared for you.

Prayer

Lord, sometimes I am troubled, but I choose to arise and shine because Your light has come upon me. I refuse to be held down by sadness or discouragement. You are with me, and I will stand firm and see Your light shining over every area of my life. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Thursday.
