I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and He turned to me and heard my cry. – Psalm 40:1

There are moments in life when waiting feels heavy and uncertain. We pray, we hope, and we long for change, yet the answer seems delayed. In those moments, Psalm 40 reminds us that waiting on the Lord is never wasted. David did not wait because he had no other option. He waited because he trusted the One who keeps, protects, and helps His people.

The Lord is your Keeper and your Helper. He watches over you with care and compassion, even when you feel forgotten or overlooked. Patient waiting is not a sign of weakness. It is a powerful declaration of faith that says God is able, God is faithful, and God’s timing is perfect. When you choose to wait on Him, you are placing your full trust in His wisdom and love.

God hears every cry that rises from a sincere heart. Not one prayer is ignored, and not one tear goes unnoticed. Even when help does not come immediately, God is already at work. He turns toward you, listens closely, and steps in at the right moment to bring help, direction, and breakthrough. Your faith and trust in Him will be rewarded.

As you wait today, remain confident in this truth. God is attentive to your voice, and He will come to your aid. Trust Him, lean on Him, and rest in the assurance that your waiting will lead to His help.

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You that I can call on You and know that You will hear my cry and help me, as I patiently wait for Your intervention. Thank You that I can anticipate and believe that You will come to my aid. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. Have a wonderful Saturday.
