“As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Now remain in My love.” – John 15:9
There is no love on earth that can compare with the love God has for you. Human love, as beautiful as it can be, often has limits. It can be affected by emotions, expectations, or circumstances. But the love of God is different. It is steady, pure, and immeasurable. It is not based on your performance, perfection, or success. It flows directly from the heart of the One who created you and calls you His own.
When Jesus says He loves you the same way the Father loves Him, He is inviting you into a place of deep security. The relationship between the Father and the Son is eternal, unbroken, and overflowing with delight. That very same love is poured over your life. It covers your past, strengthens your present, and gives hope to your future.
His love reaches the highest mountain when you feel uplifted and victorious. His love reaches the lowest valley when you feel discouraged, wounded, or overwhelmed. His love follows you into every moment, guides you through every season, and holds you together when you feel like everything is falling apart.
To remain in His love is to rest in the comfort that you are never alone. It is to lean on Him when you feel weak, to trust Him when things are uncertain, and to walk with Him daily as the Shepherd of your soul. His love is your home. His love is your peace. His love is your strength.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your great love for me. Your love towards me is like nothing else I could ever experience in life. I take hold of Your love for me, and I make it mine. I choose a deep, ongoing connection with You, my Lord. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
