“As Samuel grew up, the LORD was with him, and everything Samuel said proved to be reliable.” – 1 Samuel 3:19
As Samuel matured, the hand of God rested upon his life in a very real and visible way. He was not great because of his own wisdom or strength. He was great because the Lord was with him. The presence of God shaped Samuel’s character, directed his steps, and gave power to his words. His reliability came from the One who guided him, filled him, and walked with him daily.
This truth is the assurance God offers you today. Throughout the course of your life, the Lord is always with you. His presence is not limited to moments of worship or seasons of blessing. He is with you in your journey, in your work, in your struggles, and in your dreams. His daily presence makes all the difference, giving strength when you feel weary and courage when you feel unsure.
It is the Lord who makes you effective in all you say and do. When His Spirit rests upon your life, your words carry influence and your actions carry purpose. You do not need to depend on human ability alone, because God Himself is your helper and your guide.
Right now, in this very moment, He is with you. His favour goes before you. His wisdom surrounds you. His guidance leads you on. You can step into today with confidence, knowing that the same God who walked with Samuel is walking with you. He is faithful. He is present. He will never leave you.
Prayer:
Lord, how awesome it is to know that just as You were with Samuel, You are with me right now. I ask that at every stage of my life, You will guide and lead me and help me to be an effective instrument in Your mighty hand. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
