‘Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.’ – James 4:7
True strength begins with surrender. When we humbly submit ourselves to God, we place ourselves under His protection, guidance, and authority. Submission is not weakness; it is acknowledging that God’s wisdom, power, and plans are higher than our own.
The moment we yield to Him, we gain the authority to resist the enemy. No temptation, trial, or attack can overcome us when we stand firm in God’s power. The promise is clear: as we resist the devil, he must flee. Submission opens the door to freedom, victory, and the fulfillment of God’s purpose in our lives.
Choosing to submit daily allows God to work through us in ways we cannot accomplish on our own. It is a step of faith that shifts the spiritual atmosphere around us and positions us for breakthrough, peace, and blessing.
PRAYER:
Lord, today I surrender myself fully to You. I choose to submit to Your authority and trust Your plan for my life. Help me to resist every attack of the enemy and stand firm in Your power. As You have promised, let the enemy flee, and let me walk freely in Your victory and purpose. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen
