“The LORD, the LORD God, is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in loving devotion and faithfulness.” – Exodus 34:6
When God described Himself to Moses, He did not begin with His power or His authority. He began with His heart. He revealed Himself as the God who is compassionate and gracious, the One who loves with a depth that cannot be measured and a faithfulness that cannot be exhausted. This is the God who invites you into His presence today.
The Lord is full of mercy. He sees your struggles, your failures, your longing to do better, and He responds with kindness rather than condemnation. His patience is not a sign of weakness but a testimony of His great love. He does not rush to anger or judgment. Instead, He waits, He guides, and He continues to draw you closer to His heart.
Through every season, His faithfulness remains constant. When people disappoint you or when life feels uncertain, God stands firm. When you feel tired, overwhelmed, or undeserving, His compassion carries you. Nothing you face changes who He is, and nothing you have done can close the door to His loving embrace.
When you come to Him, even with your brokenness, He receives you with open arms. You do not have to hide. You do not have to perform. You simply have to rest in the truth that His love is abundant, His mercy is overflowing, and His tenderness toward you is unshakable. Today, allow His compassion to heal your heart and His faithfulness to strengthen your steps.
Prayer:
Lord, today I come to You to receive all that You have for me. May the reality of Your love, kindness, and compassion be real to me in a fresh and deep way. Thank You that You are not angry with me, but You love me and desire to surround me with Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Friday.
