‘Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!’ – Philippians 4:4

Joy is one of the most powerful expressions of faith. It is not dependent on how smooth life is going, but on how deeply we trust that God is in control. The Apostle Paul wrote these words from prison, reminding us that joy is not tied to our circumstances but rooted in our relationship with the Lord. When we choose to rejoice in the Lord, we are declaring that our hope is greater than our hardship and that God’s goodness outweighs every challenge we face.

Each new day gives us a fresh opportunity to lift our eyes from what is wrong and focus on what is right in God’s presence. There may be storms around you, but within your heart, you can find calm when you remember who holds your life together. Gratitude opens the door for joy to enter. Even in the smallest blessings, we find reminders that God is near.

So today, make a deliberate choice to rejoice. Celebrate the fact that the Lord is with you, guiding you, providing for you, and working all things for your good. Joy in the Lord is strength for weary hearts and light for those walking through darkness. No matter where you are or what you are facing, there is always a reason to rejoice because God remains faithful.

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You that I can rejoice in You, even when my situation does not look the way I hoped. You are my source of joy and strength. I choose to focus on Your goodness and faithfulness today. Let my heart overflow with gratitude as I celebrate the gift of Your presence in my life. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Friday.
