‘Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin condemns any people.’ – Proverbs 14:34

Righteousness is not just about personal holiness; it is a foundation for the health and strength of a people. When individuals, families, and communities walk in integrity and truth, God’s favour rests upon them. Righteousness brings peace, justice, and stability, but when sin and corruption take root, destruction and shame soon follow.

Our choices matter. Every decision to act with honesty, to show compassion, to walk humbly with God contributes to the moral and spiritual health of the community we belong to. A nation rises when its people choose what is right, and it falls when its people choose what is wrong. Righteousness is the light that dispels darkness, and through it, God’s blessings flow to generations.

Today, God calls each of us to live righteously, not only for ourselves but for the sake of our families, churches, and nations. It starts in the heart, when we decide to align our actions with His Word and follow His ways, even when it is not easy. True greatness is not measured by wealth or power but by a people’s faithfulness to God. When we walk uprightly before Him, He lifts us up and establishes us in peace.

PRAYER:

Lord, help me to live a life that honours You. Let righteousness guide my thoughts, my words, and my actions. May my life reflect Your truth and goodness, and may my choices bring light and blessing to those around me. Teach our nation to seek You first, so that we may be exalted by Your presence and grace. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. Have an awesome Wednesday.
