‘God heard their loud cries. He did not forget the promise He had made…’ – Exodus 2:24

There are times when it feels as if heaven is silent, when our prayers seem to rise but no answers come. In those moments, we may wonder if God has forgotten us or the promises He once made. Yet, the truth revealed in this verse is powerful and reassuring: God hears, God remembers, and God acts.

When the Israelites cried out from the depths of their suffering in Egypt, their cries did not go unnoticed. God heard them, and He remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. His remembrance was not passive; it was active. He set in motion a plan of deliverance that would bring them out of bondage and into freedom.

In the same way, God has not forgotten you. Every tear, every whisper of prayer, every longing in your heart is known to Him. His silence does not mean absence, and His delay is never denial. He works in His own time and way, weaving together His promises and your circumstances for the perfect outcome.

Even when the waiting feels long and the promise seems distant, hold on. The God who remembered His people in Egypt still remembers His children today. His Word cannot fail. What He has spoken, He will surely accomplish.

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You that You hear me when I cry out to You. Thank You that You never forget what You have promised. Even when I cannot see Your hand at work, I will trust Your faithfulness. Bring Your promises to fulfillment in my life, and help me to rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for my good. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Thursday.
