Because I live, you also will live. – John 14:19
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not just a historical event but the foundation of our faith and our hope. When He rose from the grave, death lost its power and the grave lost its sting. His victory was not only His own, it was given to us as a gift. Because He lives, we too can live—not only in eternity with Him, but here and now in the fullness of His life and presence.
The life Jesus gives is not a temporary escape from our struggles, but an eternal reality that sustains us in every season. His resurrection life flows into us when we believe and receive Him. It changes despair into hope, weakness into strength, and fear into confidence. We no longer live as people defeated, but as those who share in His victory.
This life is abundant, filled with peace, joy, and the assurance that nothing can separate us from His love. It also carries the promise of eternal life, where death is no longer an ending but the doorway into everlasting fellowship with Him. Each time we face challenges, let us remind ourselves that our Savior lives. Because He lives, we can face tomorrow. Because He lives, our sins are forgiven, our hope is secure, and our future is guaranteed.
Today, let the power of His resurrection fill your heart with courage. Live as one who carries the life of Christ within you. His life is your assurance that no matter what comes, you are not finished, you are not abandoned, and you are not defeated.
PRAYER:
Lord, thank You that You rose from the dead to bring life to my heart. Forgive me for the things that I have done that have displeased You. Come into my heart, and may I know what it means to live because You live, and because You live in me. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Friday.
