He died for everyone so that those who receive His new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them. – 2 Corinthians 5:15

The cross is the greatest demonstration of love the world has ever known. Jesus Christ, the spotless Lamb of God, took our place and carried the punishment we deserved so that we might know life in its fullness. He did not die for a select few, but for every single one of us. No one is excluded from His love and no one is beyond His reach.

What happened on Calvary was not just a moment in history but an eternal act of redemption that continues to touch lives today. He died for you personally, with your name written on His heart. Because of this, you are no longer bound to live for yourself, driven by selfish desires or weighed down by guilt and shame. You have been invited into a new way of living—living for Christ, who gave everything for you.

This new life is not just about survival but about transformation. The old life, with its brokenness, fears, and failures, is replaced by the life of Christ within you. His resurrection life empowers you to live with purpose, hope, and joy. The key is to receive it, to open your heart and welcome His gift of salvation, allowing His Spirit to reshape your desires and renew your mind.

Today, remember that His death was your doorway to life. Let His sacrifice move you to live not for yourself but for Him, with gratitude and devotion. When we live for Christ, our lives become a testimony of His grace and a reflection of His love to the world around us.

PRAYER:

Lord, how wonderful it is to pause and remember that You died for me. I receive and take hold of the new life that You made available to me, and I choose to live for You. May my life be a living testimony of Your love and sacrifice. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Thursday.
