“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.’ Psalm 73:26
Life has a way of reminding us of our frailty. There are moments when the weight of trials presses so heavily on us that even the strongest among us feel weary. Our bodies grow tired, our minds become anxious, and our hearts feel faint. Human strength is limited and cannot always carry us through every storm. But in those very moments when our weakness is exposed, the greatness of God’s strength shines the brightest.
God does not ask us to be strong in ourselves; He invites us to lean on Him, the One whose strength never fails. When our energy fades, His power sustains us. When our courage falters, His Spirit lifts us up. When despair tries to take root, His promises renew our hope. He is not just a source of strength; He is our everlasting portion, the One who never runs dry.
No matter what you are facing today, remember that you do not stand alone. The Lord walks beside you and within you. He longs to exchange your weakness for His strength and your fears for His peace. He is not only able to uphold you but also to restore joy and renew your soul. Your heart may fail, but His love never will.
PRAYER: Lord, I realise that my own human strength can fail, but You are the strength that I need. Be my sustainer, my refuge, and my unfailing source of hope. Today I choose to depend on You fully, knowing that in You I will never be overcome. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Thursday.
