“The LORD hears His people when they call to Him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.” – Psalm 34:17
What a wonderful assurance we have in knowing that the Lord hears us when we cry out to Him. Not one prayer, not one sigh, and not one whispered word goes unnoticed by the God who loves us. Even in the darkest nights of life when it feels as though no one sees or understands, God bends His ear toward you. He is attentive, compassionate, and ready to respond.
The Scripture does not say He might hear, it says He does hear. It does not say He might rescue, it says He rescues. That means you can approach Him with boldness and confidence, knowing that your cry reaches heaven, and heaven always responds. Your troubles may appear overwhelming, but they are never beyond God’s ability. What is impossible for man is possible for God.
Our troubles are not signs of abandonment. They are opportunities for God to reveal His faithfulness. Just as He delivered His children in the past, He will deliver you in the present. You may not know how or when, but you can be certain that He will never leave you to walk alone.
So do not let fear or despair consume you. Lift your voice in prayer. Call on Him in the morning, in the night, in moments of joy, and in moments of sorrow. He hears, He cares, and He will rescue you. Your story will not end in trouble but in testimony, because the Lord is your helper.
PRAYER:
Lord, where would I be if I could not call on You in the challenges of life? Thank You that I am never alone because You hear my every prayer and my every cry. I am so blessed to know that You will step in, help me, and deliver me. I place my trust in You, my ever-present Helper. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
