“They will not work in vain, and their children will not be doomed to misfortune. For they are people blessed by the LORD, and their children, too, will be blessed.” – Isaiah 65:23
What a comfort it is to know that our labor in the Lord is never in vain. Every prayer you whisper, every act of kindness you give, every sacrifice you make, and every effort you put into doing what is right is seen and remembered by God. He is the God who rewards faithfulness, and He promises that your work will never be wasted.
Sometimes it may feel as though your efforts are unnoticed, as if you are pouring yourself out and not seeing the fruit. But this verse assures us that nothing you do in God’s name goes unrewarded. He not only blesses you, but He also extends His blessing to your children and to generations after you. What you are building today, with faith and perseverance, is a legacy of blessing for your family.
The enemy may try to discourage you by making you feel like your sacrifice is meaningless. But God says it is not in vain. He takes your little and multiplies it into much. He takes your ordinary offering and turns it into extraordinary blessing. And this blessing is not just for you, but for your children and your children’s children.
So keep working with joy, keep sowing in faith, and keep serving with love. The harvest will come, and you will see the goodness of God in your life and in the lives of those connected to you. Your story will be one of blessing, not of misfortune.
PRAYER:
Lord, thank You that You make everything in my life worthwhile. Even the smallest act becomes significant when touched by Your hand. I choose not to grow weary, because I know that in due time You will reward my labor, and You will bless me and my children after me. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
