“They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. No longer will they build houses for others to inhabit, nor plant for others to eat.” – Isaiah 65:21-22a
God’s heart for you is not only to bless you with increase but also to protect what He has given you. It is His will that you enjoy the work of your hands and the fruit of your labour. The Lord is not glorified when your efforts are constantly stolen, wasted, or enjoyed by others while you are left empty. He declares in His Word that you will not build for another to inhabit and you will not plant for another to eat. This is His promise of divine protection over your life, your family, your work, and your future.
For too long, the enemy may have tried to rob you of peace, health, progress, or joy. He may have whispered lies that your hard work is in vain or that your future is slipping out of your hands. But hear the Word of the Lord today: your labour is not in vain. Your tears are not in vain. Your prayers are not in vain. The God of justice is fighting for you, securing what belongs to you, and ensuring that your blessing will not be stolen.
This scripture is also a reminder that the Lord is both your provider and your protector. He gives the house and allows you to live in it. He gives the vineyard and ensures that you taste its fruit. He is deeply interested in your well-being and desires that you live in abundance, peace, and joy.
So hold onto His promise. Continue to build. Continue to plant. Continue to trust Him. You will see the harvest, you will enjoy the blessing, and you will dwell securely in what He has given you.
PRAYER:
Lord, thank You that You are watching over me to make sure that I will not be robbed of the blessing that is mine. Thank You that my work and my sacrifice are not in vain, for You are the God of justice and restoration. Protect me from loss and injustice, and let Your favour rest on me and all that concerns me. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Good morning to you all. Have a wonderful Saturday.
