“I will call upon the LORD, Who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.” – Psalm 18:3
As children of God, we have both the right and the privilege of calling on Him at any time, in any circumstance. There is no moment too small, no burden too heavy, and no problem too great that is beyond His care. Calling upon the Lord is never a waste of time. In fact, it is the most powerful action we can take, because it invites the Almighty into our situation.
When we call on Him, we are acknowledging His authority over our lives, His power over every obstacle, and His unfailing love that never fails us. God promises to hear the prayers of His children. He sees our struggles, He knows our enemies, and He steps in to save us. Sometimes the deliverance is immediate, sometimes it comes in ways we do not expect, but His faithfulness is certain.
Calling on the Lord also strengthens our faith. It reminds us that we are not alone, that our hope is anchored in His power, and that victory belongs to those who trust Him. No matter the challenges you face today, when you lift your voice to Him in prayer, He listens. When you depend on Him, He acts. When you trust Him, He delivers.
Do not hesitate or delay. Call upon Him with confidence, knowing that He is worthy of your praise. Let your heart overflow with thanksgiving even before the answer comes, for our God is mighty to save and compassionate to rescue.
PRAYER:
Lord, I call on You today. I take this moment to present my requests to You. You are the One Who can save me, even from my enemies. I trust in Your power, Your mercy, and Your perfect timing. Hear my prayer, Lord, and deliver me according to Your will. I will call upon You and rely fully on You for my life. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
