“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” – Matthew 6:34
The future often feels uncertain. Questions about what lies ahead can fill our hearts with fear, anxiety, and sleepless nights. Will everything work out? Will I have enough strength, enough provision, enough grace to face what is coming? These thoughts can overwhelm us if we let them.
But the Lord gently reminds us that tomorrow is not ours to control. We do not hold the future in our hands, but we know the One who does. Each day has its own challenges, but also its own blessings. If we spend today worrying about tomorrow, we miss the peace, opportunities, and joy that God has placed in front of us right now.
God promises daily grace for daily needs. The strength you require for tomorrow will be given when tomorrow comes. The wisdom you need for the next step will be released when the time is right. He never gives us everything at once, but He always gives us enough for today. Like manna in the wilderness, His provision is fresh every morning, perfectly timed and perfectly portioned.
So release your fears about the unknown. Choose to rest in the truth that God has already gone ahead of you. He has written every detail of your story, and His plans for you are good. Today, focus on trusting Him, loving Him, and obeying Him, and He will take care of your tomorrow.
PRAYER:
Lord, thank You that I do not need to concern myself with what the future may hold. Thank You that Your mercies are new every morning and that You supply what I need each day. Help me to rest in the assurance that my tomorrow is in Your safe and loving hands. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Monday.
