“Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD.” – Psalm 27:14

Waiting is never easy. Our human nature longs for instant answers and quick results. Yet God calls us into a deeper journey of faith, where patience is not wasted time but sacred time. It is in the waiting that our faith is tested, our character is shaped, and our hearts are drawn closer to Him.

When the Psalmist says, “Be brave and courageous,” it reminds us that waiting on God is not passive. It is an active choice to stand firm, to hold on to hope, and to believe even when circumstances tell us otherwise. Courage is not the absence of fear but the decision to trust God in the face of uncertainty. Strength is not found in our own ability but in resting on His promises.

There may be seasons when your heart feels weary, when your prayers seem unanswered, and when hope appears to fade. But remember this: God is never late. He is always working behind the scenes, aligning the right time, the right place, and the right outcome. The day will come when your waiting will turn into rejoicing, and your tears will be replaced with songs of gladness.

Hold on to Him in the waiting. Trust that His timing is perfect and that His promises never fail. As you wait, you are not standing still; you are growing stronger in faith, courage, and resilience.

PRAYER:

Lord, how wonderful it is to know that I can trust and rely on You. I will wait patiently while I am trusting You. I choose faith over fear and hope over despair, and I choose to be brave and courageous as I hold onto You. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Saturday.
