“When He heard that Lazarus was sick, He (the Lord) stayed where He was two more days.” – John 11:6

Waiting on God can be one of the hardest tests of our faith. We often long for immediate answers and quick solutions, but sometimes the Lord chooses to delay. To us, a delay feels painful and confusing, but to Him, it is purposeful and full of promise. When Jesus delayed in coming to Lazarus, it was not because He did not care. In fact, His love for Lazarus and his family was so great that He allowed the delay, because He knew a greater miracle was on the horizon.

In your own life, there may be situations where you have prayed, believed, and waited, yet the answer has not yet come. Do not be discouraged. A delay is not a denial. God has not forgotten you, nor has He abandoned you. He is carefully orchestrating every detail so that, when the time is right, His glory will be revealed in a way that leaves no doubt that He is God.

The delay is not wasted. It is a season where faith is stretched, trust is deepened, and hearts are prepared to see the hand of God move in extraordinary ways. Remember, His timing is always perfect. What seems like a setback is often a setup for a greater testimony. Just as Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, He can breathe life into situations that feel hopeless in your life.

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You that I can trust You even when I am waiting for You to come through for me. I believe that Your timing is always perfect, and nothing in my life is ever wasted in Your hands. Strengthen me to keep believing while I wait, and let my life be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
