“Enoch walked with God…” – Genesis 5:24

To walk with God is one of the greatest privileges we have as His children. It is more than a moment or a season, it is a lifelong journey of intimacy, trust, and surrender. Enoch’s life was remembered in Scripture not for his accomplishments, wealth, or influence, but for this simple and profound truth: he walked with God. That walk defined his entire existence, and it became his greatest testimony.

Walking with God means staying in step with Him, not running ahead in impatience or lagging behind in fear. It means choosing His presence over self-reliance, His will over our own desires, and His voice over the noise of the world. Too often we only invite God into the big, life-changing decisions, but the Lord longs to walk with us through every moment, even the small and ordinary ones. He wants to guide you not only in times of crisis, but also in the daily rhythms of your life.

When we make walking with God our way of life, we experience His peace in uncertainty, His strength in weakness, and His direction when we feel lost. Just as Enoch walked faithfully with God, you too can live in constant fellowship with Him, knowing that His presence surrounds you and His hand sustains you. There is no greater joy than to live in step with the One who knows the end from the beginning.

PRAYER:

Lord, I choose to follow You and to walk with You each day of my life. May I never walk alone or try to do things in my own strength. Help me to always stay in step with You, not only in the big decisions but in the daily journey of life. I long for my walk with You to be my testimony, just as it was with Enoch. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Tuesday.
