As a child of God, you are precious to Him. You are not just another face in the crowd—you are known by name and cherished in His heart. In times of trouble, when darkness and calamity seem to cover the earth, God’s eyes remain fixed on you. He knows exactly where you are and what you need.
The story of Goshen is a powerful reminder that God can make a distinction between His people and the world around them. While plagues struck Egypt, Goshen remained under the Lord’s special care and protection. This was not by chance—it was the deliberate act of a loving Father who honours His covenant with His people.
In the same way, He can shield you from harm, provide for you in famine, give you peace in chaos, and make a way where there seems to be no way. His favour can set you apart, causing your life to shine as a testimony of His faithfulness.
Do not be surprised when His blessings rest upon you even when others face lack. Do not be afraid when the world is shaken, because your life is held in His hands. God’s protection is not seasonal—it is constant for those who put their trust in Him.
PRAYER:
Lord, thank You that You watch over me with unfailing love. Just as You cared for Your people in Goshen, I believe You are watching over me today. I receive Your special care, protection, and favour. My heart rests in the security of Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
