“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you…” – Jeremiah 1:5a
There is a deep and reassuring truth in knowing that you are not an accident. You are not here by chance. Long before anyone else knew about you, long before you drew your first breath or opened your eyes to this world, God already knew you. He saw you. He cherished you. He loved you.
God’s knowledge of you is not distant or shallow. It is intimate and complete. He formed you with intention. Every part of your being, your personality, your gifts, your dreams, and even the challenges you would face were known to Him. And still, He chose to breathe life into you. That is love. That is purpose.
Sometimes life can make you feel unseen or unimportant. You may go through seasons where you question your value or your reason for being. But God’s Word reminds you today that you are not forgotten. You were known by God even before your parents saw you. You were chosen for such a time as this, with a divine assignment only you can fulfill.
He loved you before you could respond to that love. He saw your entire journey before it began. And He has promised to walk with you through every chapter of your life. When you feel insecure or unsure, remember this truth: God knew you, loved you, and appointed you from the very beginning.
PRAYER:
Lord, I am humbled by the truth that You knew me even before I was formed in my mother’s womb. Thank You for creating me with purpose and for loving me so completely. Help me to live each day with the confidence that I am known, I am seen, and I am chosen by You. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
