“But God was with him and rescued him from all his troubles.” Acts 7:9-10
This verse speaks about Joseph, a young man who was betrayed by his own brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and imprisoned for years. From a human perspective, his life seemed hopeless. But through it all, one truth remained unshaken, God was with him.
God never left Joseph’s side. In every dark valley and painful betrayal, His presence was there. His love remained constant, and in time, God delivered Joseph and elevated him to a position of influence and honor.
This same God is with you today. No matter what situation you are facing, whether it’s rejection, loss, injustice, or despair, He is your Deliverer. His presence does not depend on your circumstances. In fact, it is often in the most difficult seasons that His nearness becomes most real.
God doesn’t promise a life free of trouble, but He promises to walk with us through it and to bring us out on the other side with a testimony of His power and grace. What others meant for harm, He can turn for your good. Where you see an ending, He sees a new beginning. His deliverance is never late, and it is always complete.
Take courage today. He sees you. He knows the weight you are carrying. He is working behind the scenes to bring rescue, relief, and restoration. Trust Him. The same God who delivered Joseph is the same God who will deliver you.
PRAYER:
Lord, thank You that You are my Deliverer. Even when life feels heavy and I face battles I do not understand, I know that You are with me. You have never left me, and You never will. Deliver me from every trouble and establish my steps in Your peace. I place my hope in You. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
