‘Do not be afraid,’ Elisha answered, ‘for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.’ – 2 Kings 6:16

There are moments in life when fear tries to grip our hearts, moments when the odds seem stacked against us, when problems multiply, and when we feel surrounded by battles we did not choose. In such times, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, small, and vulnerable.

This is exactly how Elisha’s servant felt when he woke up one morning and saw their city surrounded by a powerful enemy army. Panic set in. But Elisha, filled with divine confidence, declared, “Do not be afraid.” Why? Because he knew something his servant did not—he saw things from heaven’s perspective.

The truth is, we are never as alone as we think. God is with us, and He commands angel armies on our behalf. There is a greater reality beyond what our natural eyes can see. You may see obstacles, but God sees opportunities. You may feel outnumbered, but heaven is on your side.

When fear whispers that defeat is certain, let faith arise and speak louder. Remember, the One who is with you is greater than any force that rises against you. His presence tips the scale. You are not fighting alone. You are not walking through this season abandoned. The unseen hand of God is at work, surrounding you with grace, strength, and victory.

So today, lift your head. Wipe your tears. Square your shoulders. Take heart and press forward knowing that those who are with you—God the Father, His Son, His Spirit, His angels—are more than those who come against you. You are already on the side of victory.

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You that I never walk alone. Open the eyes of my heart so I can see that You are with me, fighting for me, and surrounding me with Your divine power. Help me to replace fear with faith and to hold on to the truth that You are greater than anything that rises against me. I choose to stand in confidence, not because of my strength, but because You are by my side. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. Have an awesome Wednesday.
