“When they call on Me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honour them.” – Psalm 91:15
Life is filled with moments of uncertainty, hardship, and pain. There are times when it feels like the weight we carry is simply too much, when we feel isolated in our struggles and overwhelmed by what surrounds us. But in this precious promise from God, we are reminded of a powerful truth: we are never alone.
God is not distant. He is not indifferent to your tears or unaware of your pain. He sees you, He hears your cry, and He comes close. He is a present God—near in every storm, faithful in every trial. When you call on Him, He doesn’t just listen—He answers. When you walk through the valley, He doesn’t just watch from afar—He walks beside you.
Notice how deeply personal this verse is. “When they call on Me…” This isn’t a generic assurance—it’s a covenant of love from a Father to His child. God’s promise is not just to bring us out of trouble, but to be with us in it. His presence doesn’t always remove the difficulty immediately, but it brings peace in the middle of it, strength in the struggle, and light in the darkness.
Not only does He promise to be with us, He promises to rescue and honour us. He will lift you up, restore what was lost, and bring purpose out of your pain. He will take the very things meant to harm you and use them to elevate you.
So today, be encouraged. Do not let trouble cause you to doubt God’s love. Instead, let it drive you closer to Him. Call on Him, He is waiting to answer. Trust Him, He is committed to your rescue. Rest in Him—He is right there with you, even now.
PRAYER:
Lord, what a comfort it is to know that I am not alone. When I call on You, You answer. When trouble surrounds me, You surround the trouble. Thank You for Your unfailing presence, for rescuing me, and for lifting me up even when I feel broken. I trust You, and I lean into Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake me. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Good morning to you all. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
