“Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”n- Psalm 37:4

There is a special kind of joy that comes from turning your heart toward the Lord. To delight yourself in Him means to make Him your greatest treasure, to find your deepest joy and peace in who He is, and to walk closely with Him every day. It is not just about duty or discipline, but about a relationship, one that brings life, strength, and fulfillment to your soul.

We often chase after things we think will make us happy, success, relationships, recognition, or comfort. But these things can never truly satisfy us. Only the One who created your heart can fill it fully. When you make God your delight, something begins to shift in your life. Your desires become aligned with His will. Your dreams begin to reflect His purpose for you. And in that sacred alignment, He begins to bring those desires to life.

God is not a distant observer of your life. He knows you intimately. He sees the hidden hopes, the silent prayers, and the quiet longings that no one else understands. And He promises that as you keep your eyes on Him and find your joy in Him, He will not ignore the desires of your heart. He will respond. He will act. He will fulfill.

So come back to your first love. Rediscover the joy of being in His presence. Worship Him, trust Him, and let your heart rest in the delight of knowing Him. As you do, you will discover that He is not only enough—He is everything.

PRAYER:

Lord, I choose today to find my joy in You. Not in what I have, not in what I lack, but in who You are. You are my delight, my portion, and the One who knows the cries of my heart. I trust that as I draw close to You, You will meet me with grace, with love, and with the fulfillment of every desire that is born from Your heart. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. Have a blessed and joyful Friday
