“Be still, and know that I am God!” – Psalm 46:10
We live in a world that never stops moving, notifications, deadlines, noise, responsibilities, and the constant pressure to do more and be more. In the middle of all this rush, we often find ourselves exhausted, anxious, and spiritually depleted. But right in the heart of the noise comes this gentle, yet powerful command from God:

“Be still.” Not do more. Not fix it yourself. Not run faster. But simply, be still. This is not a suggestion; it’s a holy invitation. God is calling you to step out of the chaos and into His presence. He wants you to silence the voices of fear, anxiety, self-doubt, and disappointment, so you can hear the whisper of His love saying, “I am with you. I am God.”

Being still is not weakness, it’s worship. It’s a declaration of trust that says, “Lord, I don’t have all the answers, but I know You do.” It’s in stillness that we become most aware of His nearness. It’s in stillness that our hearts are strengthened and our faith is revived. It’s in stillness that we remember — He is God, and we are held.

So today, even if your world feels like it’s spinning, take a sacred pause. Breathe. Let go. Let God take His rightful place in your heart. Be still and know… truly know… that He is God.

PRAYER:

Lord, today I lay down my restlessness, my worry, and my striving. I surrender all the things that are out of my control, and I choose to be still in Your presence. Remind me that You are God, the One who holds me, provides for me, and fights for me. May Your peace reign in my heart, and may I find joy in simply knowing You. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Monday. May you carry the stillness of God’s presence with you, no matter what the day brings.
