“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” – Philippians 4:4
Life is not always easy. It brings moments of joy, but also seasons of pain, confusion, and waiting. Yet in the midst of it all, the Word of God reminds us to rejoice, not just sometimes, but always. And not in our circumstances, but in the Lord.
This kind of joy is not based on how we feel. It is not dependent on what we have or what we lack. It is not rooted in good news or sunny days. It is rooted in God Himself, His nature, His love, His promises, and His presence.
- He is faithful even when life feels uncertain.
- He is good even when we cannot see the full picture.
- He is close even when we feel far from peace.
Rejoicing is a choice, an act of faith that says, “I trust God no matter what.” It’s declaring that God is still in control, that His plan is still at work, and that His grace is still enough for today.
Even if you are walking through a storm, you can rejoice knowing He is in the boat with you. Even if you are waiting on an answer, you can rejoice knowing His timing is perfect. Even if your heart feels heavy, you can rejoice knowing He holds you close.
So today, let your joy rise, not from your situation, but from your Saviour. Rejoice not because everything is perfect, but because He is present, He is powerful, and He is for you.
PRAYER:
Lord, I choose to rejoice in You today—not because everything in my life is easy, but because You are always good. Your joy is my strength. I rejoice because I know You are working behind the scenes, and You are writing a greater story. Thank You for Your unfailing love, Your constant presence, and the hope I have in You. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Friday. May your heart be filled with unshakable joy, knowing that God is with you and for you. Rejoice in Him, always.
