“I have told you this so that My joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” – John 15:11

There is a kind of joy that this world cannot offer, a joy that is not shaken by trouble, not stolen by pain, and not dimmed by delay. This is the joy of Jesus Christ, and He desires for it to be in you, deep, personal, and complete.

So many people go through life searching for happiness, in success, in relationships, in possessions. But those things often fade or disappoint. The joy that Jesus offers is not based on what is happening around you, it is based on His life within you.

  • His joy is rooted in the unshakable truth that He loves you.
  • His joy flows from the confidence that He is with you through every season.
  • His joy is sustained by your connection with Him, he true Vine.

Jesus spoke these words in John 15 as He encouraged His followers to remain in Him. In other words, joy is the fruit of intimacy with Christ. When we walk closely with Him, when His words remain in us and we live in obedience to His love, His joy fills our hearts and makes our joy complete.

You were never meant to live a life weighed down by fear, sorrow, or despair. You were created to live with a joy that comes from knowing who you belong to.

Let the Lord fill you today with a joy that surpasses understanding. Let His joy lift you above your circumstances and into the peace of His presence.

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You that Your joy is available to me today, not because everything is perfect, but because You are perfect and You are with me. I receive Your joy into my heart and into every situation I am facing. Teach me to abide in You so that my joy may overflow and be complete. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. Have an awesome Thursday. May your heart be filled with the kind of joy that only Jesus can give—a joy that is full, deep, and everlasting.
