“I press on…” – Philippians 3:12
Life is a journey filled with ups and downs, mountain highs and valley lows. There are days when it’s easy to keep going, and there are days when it feels like pressing on is too much to ask. Yet, in this simple but profound verse, Paul reminds us that despite everything, we press on.
Paul, a man who had suffered prison, persecution, shipwreck, and rejection, chose not to live in the shadow of yesterday’s pain or even in the pride of yesterday’s accomplishments. Instead, he lived with holy determination: “I press on.”
There are moments when the weight of the past tries to pull us back failures, disappointments, regrets, or even our own mistakes. But hear this: God did not bring you this far to leave you here.
- You may feel tired, but He is your strength.
- You may feel uncertain, but He has already gone ahead of you.
- You may not understand why things happened, but He is working it out for your good.
Press on because your future is brighter than your past. Press on because the best is yet to come. Press on because God is not finished with you yet.
Let go of what’s behind. Don’t settle where you are. Fix your eyes on Jesus and walk forward with boldness, because He who called you is faithful. He will complete what He started in you.
PRAYER:
Lord, I thank You for the grace to move forward. I may not understand everything that has happened, but I trust in Your plans and purposes. Today, I choose not to live in the past. I choose not to be paralyzed by fear or discouragement. I choose to press on toward the life, the purpose, and the calling You have for me. Strengthen me daily to keep going. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Tuesday. May the Lord fill you with renewed strength, determination, and courage as you press on toward everything He has promised.
