“Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing.” – Psalm 34:10

In life, even the strongest among us reach a point of exhaustion, need, or insufficiency. The imagery of “strong young lions” speaks of those who are full of potential, energy, and strength – yet even they sometimes go without. Strength alone is no guarantee of provision or peace.

But then comes this promise: “those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.” This is not a shallow hope – it is a divine assurance. It means that when we choose to lean into God, to trust Him wholeheartedly, He will take care of our every need – not just the bare minimum, but all that is good and right and perfect for our lives.

  • He knows your secret cries, even the ones no one else hears.
  • He sees your daily struggles, your silent disappointments, your worn-out prayers.
  • And still, His Word remains: You will lack no good thing.

This is not about instant riches or perfect circumstances, but a deep assurance that God’s goodness will follow you – even when the road is rough and uncertain.

Those who trust in the Lord don’t walk by what they see – they walk by faith in the unfailing goodness of God. Trusting Him means releasing your grip on control, surrendering fear, and believing that His timing, His provision, and His purpose are best.

Even when things are delayed… His good things are not denied.

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You that You are my Shepherd, my Provider, and my Source of every good thing. I confess that sometimes I worry, sometimes I strive in my own strength, but today I choose to rest in Your promise. I trust You with my needs, my desires, and my future. I know that as I trust in You, I will lack no good thing. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. Have a great Saturday. May your heart be filled with fresh confidence that your God is watching over you, providing for you, and working all things together for your good.
