“Look to the LORD and His strength; seek His face always.” – 1 Chronicles 16:11
Life often demands more than we feel we have to give. There are days when our strength fails, when our hearts are weary, and when we feel like giving up. But this verse is a loving reminder that we were never meant to carry life’s weight alone.
The Lord Himself is our strength – not just when we are strong, but especially when we are weak. His strength is not temporary, not dependent on our emotions, not limited by our circumstances. It is constant, dependable, and infinite.
- When you feel weary, He is your strength.
- When your hope feels dim, He is the light that never fades.
- When you feel unseen and forgotten, His face is turned toward you in love.
He invites us to look to Him – not just when we are in trouble, but always. To live in communion with Him is to draw daily strength, wisdom, and courage from the One who knows us completely and loves us deeply.
Seeking His face means desiring His presence, valuing His companionship, and depending on His power more than our own. It’s in His presence that we find peace in the storm, clarity in confusion, and grace in the struggle.
So today, don’t face your battles alone. Don’t pretend to be okay when you’re empty. Lift your eyes, quiet your heart, and seek His face. He will meet you there with strength you didn’t know you had.
PRAYER:
Lord, I lift my eyes to You today. You are my strength when I am weak, my hope when I feel hopeless, and my peace when life overwhelms me. I seek Your face – not just for what You can do, but for who You are. Thank You for being the unchanging source of everything I need. I place my trust in You completely. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Good morning to you all. Have an awesome Friday. May you walk today not in your own strength, but in the strength of the One who holds all power in His hands.
