“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” – John 14:27
In a world filled with noise, confusion, stress, and fear, peace can feel like a distant dream. Every day, we face pressures that weigh heavily on our hearts—uncertainty about the future, painful memories from the past, and burdens that seem too heavy to carry. But in the middle of all this, Jesus speaks a gentle word over your soul: “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you.”
This is not the fragile peace the world offers, which is based on circumstances, temporary comfort, or avoidance of problems. This is a deep, supernatural peace—a peace that steadies you when everything else is shaking, a peace that guards your heart when anxiety knocks at your door.
- It is peace in the storm.
- It is calm in the chaos.
- It is the presence of God filling the places where fear once lived.
You don’t have to earn this peace. You don’t have to perform for it. It’s a gift. Freely given by the One who knows your heart and walks beside you. So, stop trying to figure everything out. Stop trying to carry what was never yours to carry. Take a breath, open your heart, and receive the peace that Christ gives. His peace is stronger than your storm.
PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, I come before You weary and weighed down. I lay my worries, my fears, and my questions at Your feet. Thank You for the gift of peace that You offer me. Help me to stop striving and start receiving. Let Your peace flood my heart and calm my thoughts. I choose to rest in You today. In Your mighty name I pray. Amen.
Good morning to you all. Have a wonderful Thursday. May the peace of Christ rule in your heart and guide your every step.
