“With long life, I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.” – Psalm 91:16
So many people spend their lives searching – searching for meaning, for fulfillment, for happiness, for peace. But true life, full life, abundant life, and lasting joy are not found in possessions, success, or status. They are found in God alone.
He is the Giver of life – not just breath in our lungs, but purpose in our days and hope in our hearts. When God promises long life, He’s not merely speaking about the number of our days, but about the quality of life found in His presence. A life of peace in the storm, strength in weakness, joy in sorrow, and hope in uncertainty.
- He doesn’t just give you years – He gives you meaning in your years.
- He doesn’t just extend your life – He fills it with beauty, love, and purpose.
- And above all, He shows you His salvation, His redeeming love, and His eternal promise.
There is a richness in life that only Jesus can offer. Even in moments of trial or loss, when we walk closely with Him, we discover a depth of joy and a wellspring of peace that cannot be shaken. To know Him is to live. To walk with Him is to be truly alive. To be loved by Him is to be fully satisfied.
PRAYER:
Lord, thank You for the gift of life – every breath, every moment, every opportunity. Thank You for being the One who satisfies my soul and fills my life with Your goodness. Help me to walk in the fullness of life that You offer. May I not settle for shallow living when You offer me deep, meaningful, and eternal life. Show me Your salvation, and let my days be lived in Your presence. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
