In a heartwarming act of compassion, the Women’s Fellowship of Dora North United Methodist Church extended a helping hand to needy students at Matika Primary School this winter. The fellowship donated school wool jerseys and stockings to ensure vulnerable children stay warm and comfortable during the cold season.

The gesture brought smiles and hope to many learners who face harsh winter conditions without proper clothing. The donation was received with gratitude by the school administration, teachers, and students, who praised the church group for their generosity and community spirit.

Speaking during the handover, the Women’s Fellowship chairperson said, “As followers of Christ, we are called to care for one another, especially the most vulnerable among us. These children are the future, and we must do our part to support their education and well-being.”

The initiative is part of the church’s ongoing outreach mission to support education and uplift communities in need. The fellowship hopes to inspire others to take similar steps in showing love through action.
