“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in Me.” – John 14:1
There are moments in life when our hearts feel heavy—when uncertainty, loss, fear, or disappointment whisper lies to our souls. Jesus knows this. He sees the weight we carry and the pain we hide from others. And yet, with gentleness and power, He speaks: “Do not let your heart be troubled.” These are not just words of comfort—they are a command filled with hope.
- He doesn’t say you won’t face trouble, but that your heart doesn’t have to be troubled by it.
- He offers you an anchor in the storm—faith in Him.
- He is not far off. He is present, able, and faithful.
- When everything else shakes, His love remains steady.
You may not understand what’s happening around you, but you can trust the One who holds your future in His hands. Believe in God. Believe in Jesus. That belief is the pathway to peace. Give Him your burdens. Give Him your fears. He is more than enough.
PRAYER:
Lord, thank You for understanding the things that trouble my heart. You see the things that keep me up at night, the silent prayers I whisper, and the tears I cannot explain. Today, I lay them all before You. I choose to believe in You—my Rock, my Refuge, and my Peace. You are the calm in my chaos and the hope in my uncertainty. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Friday. May your heart rest in the peace that only Jesus can give, and may you walk today knowing you are held in His loving care.
