“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28

Life can be exhausting.

Not just physically—but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

The burdens we carry often weigh heavier than anyone else can see.

Responsibilities, disappointments, losses, unspoken battles…

And sometimes, even the people around us don’t notice the silent storms in our hearts.

But Jesus sees it all—and His invitation still stands:

“Come to Me.”

  • Not “fix yourself first.”
  • Not “figure everything out.”
  • Just come.

Come as you are—tired, broken, confused, overwhelmed—and He will give you rest.

True rest isn’t just about sleep; it’s about peace in your soul.

It’s the kind of rest where your heart exhales, and you remember you’re not alone.

It’s knowing that He carries what you can’t.

He mends what you can’t fix.

And He gives what no one else can—healing rest that renews you from the inside out.

So if something in your life is stealing that rest, release it to Him.

Let Jesus become your hiding place, your refuge, and your rescue.

PRAYER:

Lord, I come to You just as I am—tired, burdened, and sometimes unsure. I lay my heaviness at Your feet, and I open my heart to the rest only You can give. Quiet the storms within me, and fill me with Your peace. Thank You for loving me in the midst of my weariness. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. Have a blessed Friday. May you feel the gentle rest of His presence today and always.
