“In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33b

We were never promised a life without trials. In fact, Jesus Himself told us plainly: “In this world you will have trouble.”

Yet, within that same breath, He offered us the greatest encouragement of all“Take courage, I have overcome the world.”

  • Adversity is not a sign of abandonment; it is the battleground where courage is born.
  • When storms rage and hope seems distant, God stands with you, whispering, “Do not be afraid.”
  • His victory over the world’s chaos, pain, and evil means you never fight alone.
  • You may be pressed, but you are not crushed. You may be struck down, but you are not destroyed.

Take courage—not because life is easy—but because your Saviour reigns. His victory becomes your victory. His peace becomes your anchor. His presence becomes your confidence.

He’s not asking you to be fearless in your own strength; He’s calling you to trust the One who has already conquered it all.

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You that even in the face of trials, I can be filled with hope because of what You have done. You have overcome the world, and because of that, I do not stand alone or defeated. Strengthen my heart, steady my soul, and help me walk boldly in the victory You’ve already won. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Good morning to you all. May your Friday be filled with courage, knowing that the Overcomer walks beside you.
