“The LORD said, ‘Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by.’” – 1 Kings 19:11
Sometimes life pushes us into corners, caves, or valleys where it feels safer to hide than to hope again. Like Elijah, we may find ourselves retreating—not because we’ve lost faith, but because we’ve lost strength. But even in that place, God calls us higher.
He calls us to come out of hiding, to leave behind fear, doubt, and discouragement, and to position ourselves for His presence. When God told Elijah to stand on the mountain, it wasn’t just about location—it was a call to elevation. A call to lift our eyes, shift our posture, and believe again that the Lord is near.
The Lord is about to pass by—not just to be seen, but to transform, to heal, to restore, and to speak. His presence may not always come with thunder or fire, but it will always come with peace, power, and purpose.
So don’t let life’s burdens keep you in the cave. Step out. Stand tall. Believe boldly. The Lord is about to pass by in your life—in your situation, your family, your career, your heart. You won’t leave this mountain the same way you came.
PRAYER:
Lord, I hear Your voice calling me to stand in faith and expectation. Help me to step out of fear and into the fullness of Your presence. I don’t want to miss what You are about to do. So today, I lift my eyes, open my heart, and position myself to receive all that You have prepared for me. Pass by, Lord, and let my life be transformed. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Good morning to you all. May your Tuesday be filled with courage to stand, faith to believe, and eyes to see the glory of God in your life.
