“He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings, you will find refuge.” – Psalm 91:4
There is no safer place than in the presence of God. Like a mother bird spreads her wings to shield her young, so the Lord spreads His divine covering over you. His wings are not fragile — they are strong, protective, and filled with compassion.
In the chaos and noise of life, it’s easy to feel exposed, vulnerable, and alone. But God offers you something the world never can — a hiding place, a sanctuary, a shelter from every storm. He doesn’t just give you shelter; He becomes your shelter. He holds you close, shielding you not only from danger but from despair.
When fear whispers lies and the winds of life rage, remember that you are not unprotected — you are hidden in the shadow of the Almighty. Let this truth be your comfort: even when the battle rages, you are not exposed — you are covered.
You don’t need to outrun the storm or solve everything on your own. Just come. Rest. Let Him cover you. Let Him fight for you. Let Him be your peace.
PRAYER:
Lord, thank You for being my safe place — my Refuge and my covering. When life overwhelms me and I feel like running, help me to run straight into Your arms. Hide me under the shelter of Your wings. Quiet my anxious heart and remind me that You are with me and I am safe in You. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Good morning to you all. May your Thursday be wrapped in God’s comfort, peace, and divine protection.
