Acts 7:55:

‘But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.’

The Power of Looking Up:

Life can often overwhelm us with its trials, uncertainties, and pain. Stephen’s story reminds us of a profound truth: even in the most difficult and trying moments, there is a higher perspective waiting for us. When Stephen faced his darkest hour, instead of focusing on his circumstances, he lifted his eyes to heaven, and what he saw changed everything—he saw the glory of God.

God’s Presence in Every Moment:

The same God who revealed His glory to Stephen is present in your life. He longs to reveal more of Himself to you, especially when you feel weary and burdened. The challenges you face are not the end of your story. When you fix your gaze on Him, you will discover His peace, His strength, and the assurance that He is with you, no matter what.

A Change of Perspective:

Sometimes, the breakthrough we need isn’t a change in our situation but a change in how we see it. Looking to the Lord lifts us above our troubles, allowing us to see His power, His faithfulness, and His ability to work all things for good. When we focus on Him, the weight of our burdens begins to shift, and we gain the courage to press on.

His Glory Changes Everything:

The glory of God has the power to transform despair into hope and fear into faith. Stephen saw Jesus standing at the right hand of God—a picture of Christ’s authority and His intercession for us. This vision gave Stephen strength to endure, and it can do the same for you. When you look to the Lord, you’re reminded that He is greater than anything you may face.

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You for the promise that I can always look to You. When life feels overwhelming, remind me to lift my eyes to heaven and focus on Your glory. May I see beyond my challenges and catch a glimpse of Your power, love, and faithfulness. Help me to trust You completely, knowing that You are with me in every situation. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Encouragement for Today:

No matter how tough life may seem, remember to lift your eyes to the One who holds all things together. The same God who revealed His glory to Stephen wants to fill you with His peace and show you His faithfulness. Keep looking up, and you will find the strength you need for today.

Good morning to you all. May your Monday be filled with hope, peace, and the confidence that comes from looking to the Lord!
