Nyakunu United Methodist Church Section 3 gathered in festive cheer for their annual Christmas party on December 23, 2024, hosted graciously by the Marange family. The joyous occasion aimed to strengthen unity among section members and their families while reflecting on achievements and fostering gratitude for the year’s journey.

The vibrant decorations created an enchanting atmosphere, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. Guests indulged in a feast of delicious dishes prepared with care, making the gathering a culinary delight. Though the economic hardships prevented members from exchanging gifts this year, the spirit of togetherness and celebration was undiminished.

Rev Enesto Muzerengwa, the pastor in charge, attended the event alongside his spouse, bringing warmth and encouragement to the gathering. Speaking at the event, Reverend Muzerengwa said, “Christmas reminds us of the gift of Christ and the importance of sharing love and hope with one another. Today, I see that love reflected in all of you, and I pray that we carry this unity into the coming year.”

Edith Túmbàre, the Pastor-Parish Relations representative, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the commitment and dedication demonstrated by section members.

Mirram Murenje section 3 member, shared her gratitude, saying, “We would like to thank the Almighty God for making this day a success despite the many challenges we faced.”

Music and dance brought the event to life, with a diverse selection of tunes ensuring that all age groups enjoyed the merriment. The relaxed setting offered members an opportunity to socialize, deepen relationships, and create lasting memories.

Section 3 Christmas party not only celebrated the season but also reinforced the values of unity, faith, and resilience—an inspiring reminder of the strength that comes from a connected and caring community.
